The new Karate Kid film has been given an official title. Karate Kid Legends will hit theatres next summer with a look at the film being presented at next weekend’s New York Comic Con.Karate Kid Legends will merge the continuities of the original film and its 2010 remake which starred Jackie Chan in the role of the karate sensei. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the new film will take the franchise away from its US West coast roots to the East coast and focus on a young boy from China. The NYCC panel will presumably see some of the cast visit to speak about the upcoming installment of the franchise and, if we’re lucky, maybe a trailer or behind the scenes look at what to expect. The new #KarateKidMovie is kicking things off at #NYCC.
